Gearing Up for Halloween!

Posted in: General

Andrew and Hannah had their first pumpkin carving experience tonight…and it didn’t go as well as we planned!  Neither of the babies were super interested in the actual pumpkin carving or even the yucky guts of the pumpkin.  Hannah insisted on putting everything that Uncle West took out of the pumpkin back in – seeds and all!  Silly girl!  Andrew was grossed out by the whole process until the end and then he got into it a little more and started playing with the insides and top of the pumpkin.  Needless to say – Andrew needed a bath in the end, but mostly because his feet were black from running around on the newspaper!  Oh well!

I finished sewing Andrew’s Halloween costume today!  I was very proud of myself that I was able to do the whole costume by myself and it turned out pretty cute.  He is going to be a BEE!  It was his idea whether he knows that or not!  :)   Unfortunately…Andrew refuses to wear the costume at all.  Should be an interesting Halloween.  Hannah, on the other hand, enjoyed running around with Andrew’s wings and antennae on tonight…Figures!  :)

You need to send me these pictures! They turned out too cute! The babies were very funny when it came to carving pumpkins!

Andrew’s bee costume was adorable! You deserve a pat on the back even though he seems less than enthusiastic about wearing it. It’s just the nature of a strong-minded toddler, not the loving skills and efforts of the mother.
