Getting Big!!
Andrew seems to be growing up so quickly these days! It is so amazing watching the little person that he is becoming and the mannerisms and attitudes that he is developing. Some new highlights these days:
- He is starting to tell “stories” and will come running up to you and just start talking. Whether it is about a TV show he might be watching, a book he is reading, something the kitty did, or even something that we have NO CLUE about…he will just talk and talk and talk! We might catch 75% of what he is talking about and infer from that, but it is adorable watching him learning to put sentences together and get his point across!
- He LOVES the “Nickmus” lights! He has to drive around and see them with Daddy every night when he leaves Grandma and Grandpa’s house! He makes sure that everyone knows, including his stuffed turtle and the snowman, that Christmas lights are outside. We don’t know what we will do when the holiday season is over and the lights are gone!!
- He sprouted a couple new teeth without Mommy knowing! So much for keeping a detailed baby book and writing down when his teeth come in! I didn’t even know until the other day when he was crying that he had several of his 2 year molars already in place! Teething never really bothered him so he never showed any signs of discomfort or anything!
- He LOVES his new big boy room! Mom decorated it when we went to WV and it looks awesome! We did a sports theme, but it isn’t anything too major. We painted the walls two tones of blue and hung curtains. Jade (Nate’s cousin), Cindy and I made these AWESOME wall art for his room using her Cricut. I need to get pictures up…but first I need to take the pictures!

Even though I have already told you, Andrew’s room is awesome! I am proud to have been a part of it with you guys! I have enjoyed the time that I have gotten to spend with you all recently. Between Hannah and Andrew my ear for toddler speak has definately improved this week. Oh, and by the way, the day after I left Chatham, I woke up dreaming of Andrew telling me that “Ava is pretty like ‘Nickmus’ tree!” Priceless. Needless to say I woke up with a smile on my face. I hope you guys have a great holiday season and hopefully it will not be too long before I can come back down and see you all!
